Forum search

The new version of Mostphotos is now live and we have made some important changes.
First of all, the profile pages look a bit different and the avatar is now bigger. So be sure to update your presentation and upload a new avatar to make the most of the new profile page.

We have also made some major performance updates that should greatly enhance the performance for all user, especially users outside of Sweden.
There is also a new menu system and a easier registration process. The FAQ is redesigned and we will be adding more information and help texts to it the next few days.

We have removed the text editor from the forum because it was not working the way it should. We will add a new editor in the coming weeks but this solution will have to work for now.

The next thing on our list is a better upload system, better search, member search, forum search and FAQ search along with some minor tweaks.

It´s getting better and better. Thanks!

I arranged my albums and realized that we need to be able to have one image in several albums. A nature shot with a boat is both nature and transportation for example.

I don't think that is such a good idea to be honest... Multiple copies of the same photo in different albums will cause confusion. 1 album per photo is the standard and we will keep to that.

This new version is a joy to travel around in. Thanks for all the work you have done!

I'm glad you like it =)

This new layout is totally great, you are doing a wonderful work! Just an idea I had on mind, thinking about buyers. You at MP made it quite good with the presentation page. I wonder: shouldn't it come as a help to buyers too? See if I can explain myself.
Photographers can now write what they are good at, like landscape, food, model, nature, animals and so on.
Why don't you develope a function for buyers so that they get a guarantee in their search? If I should buy a photo I would be happy to know mostphotos can grant me this kind of guarantee. Say, I need a good picture of a dog. You can tell the buyers that you have classified your photographers following their professional choices. So if you want a good picture of a dog, you can now search among all those photographers that photograph especially animals, or who even just have dogs.
Brainstorming, I don't know. It sound a hell of a job for your programmers, but appealing. Ain't it?

That's a good idea. We always try to use all the data we collect in some way and this is one way to do that =)

I like the new version very much! Congratulations!
Thumbs up for Flora's idea, even if I guess it would be really difficult to find a working way to do this...

Looks much better, easy and effective. Thank you smile.gif
