Highland Tolbooth Kirk

The Highland Tolbooth Kirk is also known as St John's Highland Church and stands at the top of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, Scotland. Built in 1839/44 to house the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the spire is 73 metres (240 feet) tall. No longer used as a place of worship, it is now the main ticket office and meeting place for the Edinburgh International Festival.
