Vast Caldera of Mount Pinatubo 2
Mount Pinatubo is an active stratovolcano in Central Luzon, Philippines. Its 1991 eruption is the largest volcanic eruption in living memory, ejecting 30 billion metric tonnes of material into the atmosphere. In 1994, a group of mountaineers trekked to the crater and found the caldera. It is currently a tourist attraction in central Luzon where adventurers from all over trek to the crater to see its natural beauty.
